Daily ritual

Six small habits, one calmer day

None of these take more than ten minutes. Try checking them off as you go — the point isn't perfection, it's noticing.

Drink water before coffee

Rehydrate first — your body has gone hours without it.

Ten minutes of movement

A walk, a stretch, a few slow squats. Anything counts.

Sunlight before noon

Even ten minutes helps set your body's clock for better sleep.

Write three lines

A thought, a worry, a win — just enough to clear your head.

One phone-free meal

Just one. Taste what you're eating.

Wind-down tea ritual

A quiet cue to your body that the day is closing.

About Evergreen

A magazine for people who want to live well without performing it.

We started Evergreen in 2019 with one rule: nothing runs in these pages that the editors haven't tried, tested, or lived with themselves.

Our story

Slower, by design

Evergreen began as a quarterly print zine passed between friends who were tired of wellness content that sold more than it served. Six years later we're a small independent team publishing weekly — still without sponsored diet claims, still without an algorithm deciding what you read.

Every recipe is tested in a real kitchen at least three times. Every expert we quote is someone we've actually interviewed. It's slower than the alternative. We think it's worth it.
